This has been on my mind for awhile now, what with all the news coverage everywhere.
A picture of Fort Concho, in San Angelo, from my last visit in December. Many of the pictures on the news seem to be as unappealing as possible. While I’m not sure what to say about it, it was/is a home of sorts. I don’t know. Anyway, very pretty picture I think. -And one more from my last trip.
Cotton fields are one of those things, like Longhorns and cactus, that I forget are missing from my everyday scenery. Things that are a nice reminder of where I come from, something I think about more and more the older that I get.
