Stuck Up A Tree

Picture_067_5

My happy making sock is lonely as it waits for its partner to be knit.  But look at the pretty blooms in our front yard.  I think they are beautiful and just appeared the end of last week.  I wish I knew what they were!

So, I’m working on the other happy making sock (the colors make me happy), the Retro Ribs in Trekking XXL still, a purple tank/sweater that I started Sunday night out of Berroco SoftTwist and I’m about to begin the mesh shawl from the current Vogue, but I’ve got no interesting pictures aside from this one so far.

Tonight, however, I plan on sketching some.  I haven’t been drawing as much as I should be, outside of class, I mean.  Today I missed class because my car is having problems, so I’m already planning to be using the bus beginning with next class until the car is working again.  Anyway, I figure the bus time is good knitting and/or reading time!

*Goal – to have an interesting knitting pic this week… okay, or at least a completed item or set (socks?).

….oops, I had to come back because I forget a few things.  I REALLY want to make Via Diagonale from Knitty after seeing another one over at Knit and Tonic.  -Also, if you haven’t already, you should go to the word game that Em found – it is going to be a habit, I can tell!
